WEST SIDE TRASH AND RECYCLING CHANGEOVER:
* CCLA is changing their trash and recycling company as of September 1st. Allied Waste will be removing their equipemnt sometime between 8/31 and 9/2. The new company (J&J Trash Service Inc.) will be bringing their equipement in as soon as Allied is out. Notices were posted on all buildings.
*SMOKING BAN- Montgomery County council adopted 17-210 which prohibits smoking in common areas of multi-family residential dwellings and playground areas on those properties. This went into effect August 12, 2011. We have ordered "No Smoking" signs which will be placed on every building. * GREAT NEWS............We have hired a cleaning contractor (CTS & Associates, Inc) who will be cleaning the buildings and grounds Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. They will be cleaning full time (M-F) starting January 2012.
COMPLETED PROJECTS:
* We have removed 16 dead trees on the property
* Asphault- We had several areas throughout the parking lot on the East Side that were in need of repair. ARI Contractors came out and completed all repairs and it looks great!
* RMS has completed the exterior repairs to building 18300- Total Cost- $21,300
* RMS has completed the exterior repairs to building 9810- Total Cost- $21,300
* RMS has completed the exterior repairs to building 9720- Total Cost $20,800
* CTS has completed the exterior repairs to building 9800 - Total Cost- $20,800
* Exterior repairs were completed on building 18516/18518/18520- Total Cost- $32,000
* Light Pole repairs throughout the property- Approximate Total Cost- $11,884
* All the curbs on the East Side were painted courtsey of Montrose Towing
CURRENT PROJECTS:
* RMS will be out to repair the carports by building 18531 and building 18519. The following repairs include:
-Replace any broken or weather damaged lumber
-Caulk throughout as needed
-Spot prime as needed
-Apply a coat of exterior paint on entire structure
* We are in the process (weather permitting) of painting the reserved spaces, most have faded so we are touching them up

* Just a friendly reminder to PLEASE PLACE ALL TRASH BAGS TOWARDS THE BACK OF THE DUMPSTER. There seems to be an issue with trash building up in the front of the dumpster and then ending up on the ground in front
